, woo hoo! >:M I'm gonna add random commentary with each drawing thing, 'cause idk. I LIKE RAMBLING.
- Show a few (at least five) of your oldest arts.
- Show three of your newest which you personally like the most.

Old Stuff (2008/2009-ish)
This is from 8th grade, back when I still drew lots of Smash Bros fan art. This was done on computer paper with Crayolas. I was really proud of the shading on Ike's tunic, and the way Pit's pose came out. xD Haha idk, I didn't draw many types of poses, so when I did something remotely interesting I was happy. :^D
My old Rock Band OCs! Two of them actually belonged to my sisters, but I kind of just... did whatever I wanted with them... /WEH;; I was super proud of the coloring I did here, 'cause I had gotten some new colored pencils. >:V The brand was some random thing called Loew-Cornelle, but I loved them. The Michael's I go to stopped selling them, though. Whatevz.
Some old attempt at a fake screenshot. I liked how I did the background, here... especially the wall. (To be honest, I still think it's a decent wall HAHA;;;
) I struggled with the cell shading, though... I only had gimp at the time, too, so the quality was a little strange.
I drew this near the end of the school year in 9th grade. I was so proud of the pose! And the guitar! AND THE SHADING AND BACKGROUND! Yo, I used to really dig this picture.
BACK WHEN I FINISHED THIS, I WAS LIKE, "THIS IS IT. I'VE REACHED MY PRIME. IT'S TIME FOR ME TO SELL PRINTS."
Idk, young Akioh. you're a mystery. New Stuff
This was the first thing I tried to do as a traditional sketch, with digital coloring. I also tried some new things with cell shading. I'm still pretty happy with how this came out! :^D
More experimenting with cell shading, for this one. I also tried a limited color pallet, which I think ended up looking pretty cool. This is probs my favorite thing I've drawn this year so far, but I kind of wish I did a clean line art for it. xD; I wanted to see how a sketchy line art would look with finished coloring.
MY ONLY SUCCESSFUL SOFT SHADING ATTEMPT... I always have trouble with soft shading because idk how simple or detailed to go with it, but I like the feel of how it looks, here. Idk, even though this drawing's a little simple, I like it.
I don't really draw traditional art, anymore... Actually, I still really like sketching traditionally! But coloring has basically moved completely to digital. orz I still wanna try colored pencils again, sometime.
Overall, my anatomy and posing's gotten better. I'M FINALLY SOMEWHAT COMFORTABLE WITH HEADS...? (though I still need to practice consistency with head angles, hoo hoo;;;
) I also think the way I draw wrinkles in clothes looks less weird, though I still kind of have trouble with them. EVEN THOUGH DRAWING IS STILL FRUSTRATING, I'M MORE OR LESS HAPPY WITH WHERE I'M AT RIGHT NOW, HAHA. ;U;/
! >:V Because why not.
